Hey Mick, I’ve been meaning to message all week! I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping to get Max through his exams. I honestly don’t think he could have done it without you. You gave him confidence, belief and purpose, so much of which had been stripped from him over the years at school. You have really inspired him to do better for which I can’t thank you enough. Max has had a terrible couple of years but your tutoring really was the piece we needed to help him have a sense of purpose when it came to his education. So thank you. We will let you know how he does but whatever the outcome, I think you got everything you could out of him!

Mick has taught me loads about maths and loads of different ways to get the best answer possible

Mick has been very patient with my teenage daughter and massively helped her confidence with maths. She found it much easier to understand with him and has learnt so much, even enjoyed it. She has become very proud of herself which has helped with other subjects. Mick is the only maths tutor I would use.

Mick has been tutoring my home educated son for a while now. My son can be a bit difficult and Mick is incredibly patient whilst being in control of the session. My son is progressing well and this is due to Micks knowledge and ability to engage him. Mick has a great aura about him which I imagine all kids will respond positively too. He is always on time with a smile on his face and is a god-send for me as a home educating parent!

I just wanted to say thank you Mick, for all your help and guidance over the last of my school years, whether it was our more therapeutic lessons or the dreaded maths ones, it really helped me more than you could know! I think you are an incredible teacher and person, hope you have an amazing time on your travels and promise to keep in contact over the next few years, again thank you for everything!

My son passed all his exams last year but struggled with Maths, we tried different things to help and then by chance we came across Mick, since then my lad has really improved his understanding of all things maths, Mick explains it in a way that makes it fun whilst achieving the end goal

Mick taught me for almost 3 years. To start with I didn’t listen to him and didn’t believe I could achieve anything, then I started listening to him. My science and maths knowledge improved a lot as he had a lot of patience, especially with my turrets.

I am about to take my GCSE’s and feel pretty confident.
